I’m elated to share this Chalmers St. Charleston engagement session! Ever since Aimee and Justin started dating, they’ve attended an annual wine festival in Ocean City, Maryland. With years of memories, it was a perfect chance for Justin to propose. The couple took a walk on the beach around sunset. With the beautiful scenery in a town that means so much to them, he asked Aimee to marry him. Of course she said, “Yes!”
They are planning for a spring wedding at the historic Boone Hall Plantation. The Cotton Dock is a perfect waterside venue that is just a short walk away from the well-known Avenue of Oaks. Aimee envisions a rustic vintage theme with pale pink and gold colors. Since they are marrying in classic Southern outdoors, they decided on a different backdrop for their Charleston engagement photos. The streets of Downtown Charleston embody eclectic architecture and backdrops. Within just a couple of blocks we were able to find colorful walls, oak trees, and a cobblestone road.
