Ava and Travis met late one night in Las Vegas. He was making his rounds with trauma patients and overheard Ava, a cardiac unit RN, singing Jason Mraz. She claims it was “love at second sight.” Their romance has included introducing Ava to biking, camping, and hiking as well as a move to Washington and the addition their second daughter, Serena.
For their wedding, Ava envisioned a chic vintage styled day with Magnolia Plantation as the backdrop. Her sequined halter Jenny Packham gown is reminiscent of 1920s elegance that made Ava look simply regal. The guys were dapper in their wool vests and Travis topped off his look with a stylish hat. Fall colors of plum and wine accented tabletops and attire. The vintage doilies, linens and lanterns were brought from the Philippines by Ava’s mother. After their ceremony under the oaks, the couple performed a well choreographed first dance number that started slow before they broke out into a routine. That definitely got the party started on the dance floor, which later had appearances by pirates and lifting Ava and Travis in the air. Congratulations Ava and Travis!
