Eve and Matthew’s College of Charleston Charleston engagement session is filled with wonderfully loving and candid moments. As any local knows, Charleston weather can be a bit unpredictable and this day was no exception. The forecast indicated rain, we swapped locations, and hoped for the best. Fortune was on our side cause the afternoon ended up with beautiful light. I suggested my alma mater, College of Charleston, for their engagement portraits so we could have a more intimate on-location session away from the hustle and bustle of the Battery. CofC’s cistern area has classic Southern oak trees and historic buildings offering unique pink and reddish hues with great architectural elements. These beautiful backdrops served as great inspiration as we explored the campus and create some timeless portraits. Congratulations to these two and I can’t wait for their wedding this spring at Boone Hall Plantation!
