The couple planned a simple chic DIY wedding in Myrtle Beach. A creative, hands-on pair, Hannah and Greg designed their wedding invitations while Greg’s father served as floral designer. Other personal touches included Hannah wearing the same bridal shoes her godmother did on her wedding day and donning a necklace her grandfather had given her grandmother. The color palette inspiration of fall yielded a warm pink and orange hued palette for decor and wedding party attire. They wed in St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church with Greg’s childhood priest traveling down South to officiate the wedding. After greeting close friends and family in a welcome line, they exited with everyone blowing bubbles. With the beach nearby, pier 14 offered a beautiful sunset with an ocean backdrop for portraits. Thereafter, the newlyweds headed to the Bay Watch Resort to celebrate. Opting for an alternative wedding dessert, they shared ice cream cake and served Ben & Jerry ice cream. Their wedding night continued with spirits and dancing before heading to their honeymoon in the Caribbean.
