I’ve been back in Charleston for a few days. My winter break agenda includes taking a real break; so, I’ve been working on leaving my camera in the bag and trying to be fully engaged in living, experiencing, and being within a moment. The strange thing is that a camera and a lens gradually become an appendage. It is a part of me, an extension of me, but it can also limit me to becoming a mere voyeur of life restricted by the confines of the viewfinder.
These are a few images from this holiday weekend that neither reflect holiday nor gluttony at its finest.
