Megan and Max, who met through mutual friends, consider themselves two goofballs that are madly in love with each other. After a surprise proposal before a romantic dinner, the two decided on a destination wedding in Charleston. Trying to keep it romantic and fun, Megan and Max chose a modern vintage motif and a color theme of lavender and pistachio shades. The ceremony was held at the scenic White Point Gardens on the Charleston Battery, followed by a reception at the Old Exchange Building. The groom’s mother is a seamstress and used her talent to design and create Megan’s reception dress. Megan also incorporated a few of her grandmother’s accessories into her look. She used a vintage broach on her bouquet, a bracelet and a garter all belonging to her grandmother. Congratulations Megan and Max!
