Fortunately, I was finally able to see Mik before I make the trudge northward in a few days. She had just returned from a road trip through several states, one of which was Ohio. I think she developed a new degree of empathy for my geographic circumstances.
We talked of light, ethics, intent, experiences, and travels while lounging on a couch at the Ron Paul headquarters in Charleston, which was the only place I knew she’d be concretely fixed for a few hours while she waited to talk with soon-to-be friends about Paul, politics, and photography.
