Roxann’s and Stephen’s winter wedding in Charleston was an enchanting evening at the South Carolina Aquarium. Before the reception festivities, the bride and bridal party dressed at the Embassy Suites in Marion Square. Bridesmaids wore intricately designed black and grey saris while Roxann wore a strapless, lace gown by Allure. The couple exchanged vows before friends and family at the historic St Mark’s Episcopal Church. Having recently completed her PhD in the veterinary field and his love of nature, the aquarium was a perfect venue for the pair. Guests toured the exhibits and the dance floor’s backdrop was a floor-to-ceiling aquarium. The groom’s photography served as the table themes with each table being designated by a landscape image. Place cards were postcards – one side donning Stephen’s photograph, the other side containing a personal, handwritten message from the couple to the guest. After dining on cuisine from Hamby Catering, Roxann and Stephen hit the dance floor before wrapping up the night with a farewell from their loved ones. Congratulations Roxann and Stephen!
