Sarah and Nate met while attending the State University of New York Oswego. They worked together at the Disability Support Services office. Nate was a graduate assistant tasked with teaching freshman Sarah everything about the position. Their transition from co-workers to friends included breaks for chocolate milk dates.
These two had worked well together in the professional world and this came into play on their wedding day. A Lowcountry rainstorm couldn’t stop Sarah and Nate from having the perfect wedding day. The pair were originally supposed to say, “I do” under beautiful live oaks and spanish moss at The Links at Stono Ferry but a summer storm forced some quick thinking to move the ceremony into the clubhouse. The light gray and soft pink color palette encompassed a classic southern themed wedding. Details included personalized rustic elements of mason jars, lace, pearls and burlap. The bridesmaids wore pink and white chevron a-line dresses complimented with pink flower necklaces. The groomsmen donned matching pink and gray ties paired with gray suits and groomsmaids dressed in custom-made maxi style gowns. Duvall served a down-home southern meal while DJ Stuart of Pinaccle Light and Sound mixed dance floor music.
Congratulations Sarah and Nate!
